Himalayan Crystal Salt

Crystal salt from the Himalaya is considered the king’s salt. It is also known as the "white gold" or "salt of life". This is not surprising, since the word salt comes from sun (sol). Himalayan crystal salt contains eons of stored sunlight. Together with pure spring water it offers the complex mineral foundation for life to emerge, to be maintained and sustained.

It had millions of years to mature under great tectonic pressure, far from exposure to impurities. Primal energy from millions of years ago is stored in crystal salt's unique structure. All its inherent minerals and trace elements are available in colloidal form. This guarantees that the body is able to absorb necessary potassium, calcium, magnesium and trace elements.

Crystal salt from the Himalayan, together with pure water, is the purest, simple, yet most effective preventive health measure we can take. Plinius, a Roman writer (23-79 AD) already declared: Crystal salt is the most important remedy for mankind.

Our common cooking salt does not contain the vital elements that make crystal salt from the Himalayas so precious. Common cooking salt is basically an industrial waste product with only two of the original 84 elements remaining (sodium and chlorine) that is detrimental to our health. Sea salt is a much preferred alternative to refined processed salt. However, natural salt harvested at the shore is only fully viable as long as it is not industrially processed and is not supplemented with additives to make it pour more easily. Sea pollution, with its many harmful toxins, causes negative biophysical frequency to affect the finished product.

Production

Asia Import, our supplier, harvests its crystal salt from the deepest and purest level of a salt mine in the Himalayas. The purest, nearly transparent crystals, which look like uncut diamonds, come from a thin bottom layer of the mine, the location of which is a highly guarded secret. Salt rocks of 30 to 50 kg are manually cut out in the mine and tracked from this point on by an internationally accredited independent company.

Transported to the production facility in Delhi, they are once again tested both by the above-mentioned company and our chemical engineer. They are cleaned, sun dried and finally sorted by color. The darker stones are processed into bathing salt. The purest stones are cut by hand into pieces of between 20 and 60 grams each, washed in brine and sun dried.

While the bath salt production is done in India by our Indian employees - none of whom are children - the pure salt is shipped to Germany, where it is again tested by the accredited laboratory that authorizes the well-deserved seal of excellence used on all of our products. Further processing takes place in the Bavarian countryside town of Raisting, Germany, the headquarters of Asia Import. Here, mill salt and cooking salt are produced by local down-to-earth people whose commitment to Asia Import knows no office hours. Their ingenuity, devotion and care is helping our company evolve in a very organic way.
